About John Tesh
Hailing from New York's longest island, John Tesh has been drawn like a magnet
to music his entire life. Before the age of ten, John was busy mastering the trumpet and piano, and would find himself practicing
and learning from the world's best musician at the Juilliard School before graduating high school. He would be one of the
youngest musicians named to the New York State Symphonic Orchestra, splitting his time between this coveted musical position
and his local school rock band, where he filled out his band's rock sound by jamming on the organ. Drawn to media of all types,
John was involved in sportscasting and television while in college, and would spend the early years of his adult career working
After a stint as a news reporter, Tesh soon found himself on Entertainment Tonight, assisting in hosting

a supporting musician for worldwide musician Yanni during his 1988 concert series. John would use his roots in television
to write the themes for both the popular cartoon show Bobby's World and the NBC's NBA broadcasts. By 1994 John's music career
was in full swing, with a record deal with Private Music and his first headlining live performance at Colorado's Red Rocks
Amphitheatre. Leaving his television career temporarily behind, John started the John Tesh Radio Show, which soon established
a regular listenership of over fifteen million listeners across North America and Europe.
Today, John splits his time
between his radio show, life performances, and engagements across various other mediums including television. His focus has

John's long and storied career has meandered throughout the music industry for
nearly a quarter of a century, with a consistent string of releases that has totaled itself to more than fifty full length

producer Carter Cathcart.
Tesh's early years drew on a variety of genres, experimenting with a wide range of styles
and instruments that included the hits Sax All Night and Guitar by the Fire, both of which dropped on the influential Decca
