        Campbell University and the Fighting Camels have a new reason to celebrate, and it’s all thanks to the college’s new multi-purpose arena, named after the late John William Pope, Jr., a 1975 Campbell alumni and avid supporter of the university. The convocation center features the Gilbert Craig Gore Arena, a 5,000 square foot fitness center and several other offices, locker rooms and classrooms, so get tickets to the arena and see it all for yourself!

        Get John W. Pope Convocation Center tickets today and head down to the arena to watch mascot Gaylord the Camel and the rest of the Campbell University Fighting Camels in action, as the convocation center is the new home of the university’s basketball, volleyball and wrestling programs! Seating a capacity of 3,100, Campbell’s new convocation center replaced the Carter Gymnasium (the second smallest gym in Division 1 basketball) and is all the talk of Buies Creek!
