The 2006 event featured four top NCAA basketball programs, the UCLA Bruins, the Texas A&M Aggies, the USC Trojans, and the George Washington Colonials. Charity events precede the games, but the main event will be the action on the hard wood, when UCLA and other top programs show what they're made of.

In that time many great college hoops teams have played in the annual four team tournament that honors one of the greatest basketball coaches of all time, John Wooden. Wooden was the UCLA coach during ten of their championship seasons, and is honored in the Basketball Hall of Fame.
