Indie-pop act Jose Gonzalez was born in Chile but moved to Sweden where he found fame by way of his poppy, acoustic rock sets that gave him top exposure in the country. Following '90s efforts with hardcore, Gonzalez released Veneer in 2003. The set was a success and even found crossover appeal when it hit the States in 2005.
