Son of reggae star Bob Marley and Lucy Pounder, Julian Marley was born into reggae legendary fame along with half brothers Ziggy and Damian. Raised in England with his mother, Marley often visited Jamaica and before long became involved in the family business. Julian's debut, "Lion in the Morning," was produced by his father's production company and appeared in 1996. Beginning to record tunes in the late '90s, he fused reggae, jazz, blues and rock into the sets that has allowed him to sell out concert tickets for years.
Growing up with a famous father has helped Julian Marley tremendously, practically in the industry of music as he incorporates his father's love of Jamaica with his upbringing in England.
