About Julianne Hough
This blonde beauty is
just 25-years-old, but her career has already been labeled prolific. As the youngest of five children in a Mormon family,
she followed in her grandparents' footsteps and started dancing as a young girl in Orem, Utah. At the age of 10, she showed
such promise that her parents sent her and her brother to live and study dance in London with their coaches. Julianne and
Derek were close from the start, creating a strong bond that centered on dancing and performing, and soon they created a pop
music trio along with their coaches' son, Mark. They named the group 2B1G, which stands for "2 Boys 1 Girl". The group performed
around the UK and the US, and was also featured on a British television show. And at the young age of 15, Julianne became
the youngest female (and only American) to win both Junior Latin World Champion and International Latin Youth Champion. From
there, her dancing skills and bombshell looks set her career aflame, and soon, both she and Derek became dancers on "Dancing
With The Stars", winning the show twice, once with U.S. Olympian Apolo Ohno and once with Indianapolis 500 champion Helio
Julianne took a break from her dancing career to focus on her country music and to pursue acting. In 2008,
Julianne toured with Brad Paisley, Jewel, and Chuck Wicks, a move that helped solidify her reputation as a country artist.
Although Julianne no longer performs on "Dancing With The Stars, Derek still represents the Hough family on the show, from
which he has taken home five championships. Talent must run in the Hough family's genes, because both Derek and Julianne have
created incredible careers out of their ability to move, sing, act, and work hard. Don't miss these gifted entertainers and
grab tickets to their upcoming shows on StubHub right away.
After taking a break from "Dancing
With The Stars" to focus on her music career, Julianne's self-titled debut album hit number one on the Top Country Albums
chart in 2007. Two years later, she was nominated for the Top New Female Vocalist Award by the Academy of Country Music. Despite
the success of her newly launched music career, Julianne put it on the backburner because of the increasing momentum of her
acting career. She has starred in the remake of "Footloose", "Burlesque", "Rock of Ages", and "Safe Haven". While she continues
to act, sing, and dance, now she is finally taking her talents on the road so that you can see her perform live!
you know that Julianne and Derek were a part of their family's country music group when they were children?
family's country band was called "White Lightning" because of their strikingly blonde locks. Julianne played the bongos and
sang when their band performed.
Julianne and Derek are describing their "Move Live on Tour"
as an interactive experience with the audience, so don't expect to be merely a spectator--expect to join in on the fun! Julianne
and Derek's enthusiasm is contagious, and even though you may not be able to dance like them, you will still want to get on
your feet and groove a bit. Both Julianne and Derek will perform original music as well as shake their stuff in dancing numbers,
so it will be a wild and energetic night that will be unlike any show you've ever experienced. Grab your tickets to see Julianne
and Derek shake it from StubHub today!
