Kansas City Chiefs Playoff Schedule

The Kansas City Chiefs are looking to make some serious noise in the AFC if they can make it to the postseason this season. The Chiefs have a solid team that boasts a balances offensive attack and an opportunistic and aggressive defense. This team posted one of the best records in the AFC last season and secure a berth in the postseason via a Wild Card spot. The team is playing well yet again in 2014 and they've got their sights set on the AFC West title. The Chiefs will have to outdo 2013 AFC West and AFC Conference champion Denver is they're going to land the top record in the division. The Chargers re another division rival that has looked like a potential playoff team in 2014.

The Chiefs have one of the best running backs in the game in Jamaal Charles. Charles has had some incredible seasons over the years, though this year he has experienced some injuries. Still, when he's on the field he's a threat to take it the distance at the drop of a hat. With quarterback Alex Smith under center Kansas City has a reliable veteran that doesn't make many mistakes, and that's the kind of signal caller you really want in the postseason. This Kansas City defense has been solid this year, and defense is always a big deal when it comes to the playoffs.

If the Chiefs can reach the postseason in 2014, they'll be faced with some of the toughest opponents in the AFC. One team that could present a real challenge is the Denver Broncos. The Broncos went all the way to the Super Bowl last season, and they could make it happen again this time around. With quarterback Peyton Manning under center, the Broncos boast one of the best players in the league at the helm of an electric offensive attack. If the Chiefs were to take down the Broncos in the playoffs it would be a massive victory. Another tough opponent KC may face in the postseason is the New England Patriots. The Pats started the season slowly, but they have hit the stride and look like the New England team that fans have become accustomed to over the years. The Chiefs would have to try and slow down Tom Brady, something much easier said than done. Get out to all of the Chiefs playoff games this season to see this team take on the best squads in the conference.
