Kansas City Chiefs Schedule
The Kansas City Chiefs are prepared to do whatever it takes to take down all of their
opponents this season, and fans of the team are excited to see how high this club can climb in 2014. The Chiefs have some
exciting players on both sides of the ball, and this season could be a banner year for Kansas City. The Chiefs know that they're
going to have to play well against their divisional foes, especially the Denver Broncos. The Broncos were incredible throughout
the 2013 season, winning the AFC West title and going on to represent the conference in the Super Bowl. The Broncos have one
of the best quarterbacks to ever play the game in Peyton Manning, and Manning is playing at the highest level in his career
despite being in his late 30s. The Chiefs will also have some tough games against the San Diego Chargers, another playoff
team to come out of the AFC West last year. The Chargers also have a good quarterback in Philip Rivers, who has a resurgent
campaign last year and looks like the Rivers of old. This should be an exciting season of KC football as the Chiefs vie for
one of the top seeds in the AFC playoffs.
Kansas City Chiefs Team Info
The Kansas City Chiefs played very
well in 2013, making the playoffs just one season after finishing with the worst record in the National Football League. One
big reason for that turnaround was the acquisition of head coach Andy Reid, who had worn out his welcome in Philadelphia despite
regularly making the postseason with the Eagles. The team also found themselves a starting quarterback in Alex Smith, who
played very well in his first season in Kansas City, giving the team some stability at the quarterback position. The Chiefs
also had a very opportunistic defense, one that capitalized on the mistakes of their opponents and created a lot of turnovers.
Kansas City was unable to defeat the Indianapolis Colts in the first round on the postseason, and the team is looking to advance
further in the playoffs in 2014.
The National Football League presents fans with the chance
to enjoy some of the most exciting sports action in the world on a regular basis. Every week the NFL schedule is packed with

Kansas City Chiefs Trivia
How did the Kansas City Chiefs acquire quarterback Alex Smith?
The Chiefs saw
an opportunity to acquire a good starting quarterback during the 2013 offseason and traded for the signal caller. Smith was
the first overall pick in the 2006 NFL Draft, selected by the San Francisco 49ers. Smith struggled to adjust to the pro game,
having some tough years in the Bay Area before finally coming around and playing well for the Niners in 2012. The Niners felt
committed to Colin Kaepernick at the quarterback position, though, and put Smith on the market. The Chiefs scooped up Smith
and made the playoffs in his first season with the team, as Smith proved to be a good match with head coach Andy Reid.
Kansas City Chiefs History
The Kansas City Chiefs first took to the football field in 1960 when they were the
Dallas Texans. The organization moved to Kansas City and became the Chiefs two years later. Owner Lamar Hunt was an integral
part in establishing the American Football League, which would go on to merge with the National Football League to form much
of the NFL as we know it today. The Chiefs won one Super Bowl, Super Bowl IV, but they have made it to the postseason more
than 15 times over the course of their history, showing a track record of success in the National Football League. With former
greats like Priest Holmes and Derrick Thomas, the Chiefs have seen plenty of premier players that have come through their
roster, and now they're in an exciting new era that has fans thinking about watching their team get right back into the playoff
hunt.Chiefs-Broncos ticketsare always some of the hottest tickets around town, though there are plenty of other great match-ups
on the schedule each and every season.
