Kansas City Royals Road Games

Kansas City Royals Road Games tickets

2014 Kansas City Royals Road Schedule

The Royals are back and eyeing the top of the A.L. Central standings in another season sure to be absolutely filled with sprawling catches, clutch hits and bench-gripping moments that you don't want to miss out on. But don't make the mistake of thinking that the only way to experience the Royals is at home, because even though Kauffman Stadium tends to be bumping with Royals pride and passion, it's always something to behold to watch the Royals take to the field in enemy territory. Come out and make sure that you don't miss a second of the action as the Royals look to swing their way up the standings.

The Royals will play a lot of road games against their American League Central rivals in particularly, such as the Chicago White Sox, Cleveland Indians, Detroit Tigers and Minnesota Twins. No matter who they play, though, it's great to watch the Royals in action in hostile territory, as you'll have an unbelievable experience that you can't get by watching on that flatscreen and pretending to get the vibes of the crowd. As soon as you're there watching the big game the way it was meant to be seen, with the buzz of the crowd steadily rising, you'll be glad that you're not sitting anywhere else.

The Experience

Even though baseball is now played at a high level all over the world, Major League Baseball is still the premier league for a reason, and it isn't because there is a lack of talent on the diamond. Get out and see a great game loaded with memorable moments that you have to see first-hand to truly appreciate. This is one of those sports that gets taken to a completely different level when you see your favorite team and players hit the diamond, and the electricity of the stands is sure to be something to behold. Once the game is on the line and the Royals are hoping to put together a string of clutch hits to seal the deal, you'll see loud and clear that there is no substitution for the live experience.

The Team

MLB tickets to see the Kansas City Royals first went on sale in 1969, giving the Royals a long history littered with great players and teams. During the 1980s the Royals were hot, adding multiple division titles, two AL Pennants and one World Championship to their list of achievements. These days, the Royals have a squad filled with up and comers and savvy vets, with Eric Hosmer, Alex Gordon and more leading the way on the diamond. From spring training through the regular season, the Royals are sure to give you plenty to cheer about as they look to pile up the wins and make some major noise in the A.L. Central.

Kansas City Royals Trivia

Did you know that George Brett went to the All-Star Game 13 different times?

Calling Brett a legend of the Royals is a bit of an understatement, as the smooth hitting first and third baseman was a dominant force on the plate from the 1970s through the 1980s and even into 1990. Oddly enough, in 1990 Brett didn't even play in the All-Star Game but ended up winning the A.L batting title, giving him one in all three decades that he played.

Kansas City Royals History

Since 1969, MLB tickets to see the Kansas City Royals have been available for baseball fans in KC. The Royals have had plenty of great players come through their roster, including all-time great George Brett, Harmon Killebrew, Gaylord Perry and many, many more. With a title as recently as the mid-1980s, this is a team that has a winning tradition but has been pushing their way back into baseball prominence, making it the perfect time to come out and see if they have what it takes to make another run it all.

The Fans

The Kansas City Royals play in the competitive American League Central, where they face some of the best teams in the A.L. on a regular basis. Games outside of Kauffman Stadium can be just as exciting as seeing a home game, as seeing a big road match-up is an unforgettable experience that is sure to have you out of your seat in no time.

But even though home games are obviously great, there is nothing quite like being there in the stands to see the big game from a whole new perspective on the road. When the Royals are in the middle of a great battle that has all the makings of a classic, the buzz of the crowd is sure to be unbelievable – and you'll be right in the middle of it as the Royals look to light up the scoreboard and quiet down the home team. Once you're seen your team on the road, you'll be kicking yourself for not making it happen a whole lot sooner.
