Named after the sensational actress Katharine Hepburn, the Cultural Arts Center of Saybrook was named after the "Morning
Glory" star two years after her death. Though Hepburn never knew of this change, she was fond of this historic theater that
has welcomed some of the area's finest entertainment. From movies to actors, musicians and plays, everyone loves Katharine
Hepburn Cultural Arts Center tickets.
Named after the famous actress, "the Kate" was originally deemed the Old Saybrook Musical and Dramatic Club, a venue originally
developed by the town itself. Hepburn and her family vacationed there when she was young, but as she rose to stardom the movie
house and its town became her favorite hideaway. She eventually moved there following her retirement.
A non-profit organization that first opened in 1911, the Kate is now listed under the national register of historic places
and was renovated thanks to funds from the town of Old Saybrook. The venue offers artistic entertainment throughout the year,
perfect for patrons of all ages. If you're in this small Connecticut town this year, catch theater
