In 2008, Adam Tune and David Matisse decided in their hometown of Toronto that they wanted to form an electronic band. After locking themselves in a room for lengthy periods of time honing their craft, the duo created two mixtapes that only bolstered their fan-base. Following the mixtapes, Keys N Krates would release their first EP, entitled "The Blackout". The group has performed at music festivals like Electric Forest and Camp Bisco.
