The history of Kings Barcade dates back to 1999 when the original Kings Barcade called 424 South McDowell Street. The idea
for Kings Barcade came from three local musicians, Paul Siler, Ben Barwich and Steve Popson. The trio started Kings Barcade
to create a place that could host a variety of entertainment events from concerts to comedy shows, circus performances, theater
events and more.
The first home of Kings Barcade lasted until 2007 when the original building was sold. Kings Barcade went without a home
until it found a new building at 14 West Martin Street in 2010.The new venue has many improvements over the original location,
which makes the concert events and other events
at the Kings Barcade even better.
