Led Zeppelin 2
Led Zeppelin 2 is comprised of four of the most epic Zep rockers in history. Forged through brotherhood,
musical talent, and a raw love for Led Zeppelin, the combined powers of Bruce Lamont, Ian Lee, Matthew Longbons and Paul Kamp
make up the band of rockers that is Led Zeppelin 2. With combined decades of musical experience, there hasn't been a rock
lineup that is this high octane and talent since the original Zep itself.
At the forefront of the action and drawn in
the spitting image of Robert Plant himself is Bruce Lamont, LZ2's charismatic frontman. With a vocal range as dynamic as Plant's
and enough swagger to change others' sexual preferences at will, Lamont is the foundation of LZ2 upon which the others build
upon. Hailing from Chicago, Bruce has been a pivotal figure of both local and national rock scenes for decades. When he's
not belting out Zep on the tour trail he's working with Yakuza, the pioneering and endlessly unique metal outfit that has
experienced runaway success and sold out concerts all over the world. Since two major successful acts weren't enough, Bruce
also spends his time writing and performing for a variety of side projects, including solo work and collaborations such as
Bloodiest and Circle of Animals. Bruce's breakout solo album Feral Songs for The Epic Decline would receive widespread critical
acclaim from the music critic community.
Ian Lee jams on the drum set for LZ2, carrying on a long familial line of well
known musicians. Ian was drawn to the drum set shortly after he could walk, and has been a percussionist through and through
for the majority of his lifetime. His initial break would come in his formative years when he migrated south of the border
to tour with Bad Oskar, who are the time were touring with multiple rock greats including Ted Nugent. Bad Oskar would eventually
simmer down and Ian would explore other musical endeavors, including working with Not Rebecca, Ministry, and side projects
from members of Cheap Trick. Ian has received widespread recognition and accolades as one of the most prominent drummers of
Slapping the bass like its never been slapped before is Matthe Longbons, a jazz enthusiast who has bounced
between some of the biggest acts in the business, including the Ghettobillies who would tour alongside such names as the Allman
Brothers and Alice Cooper. Matt is frequently enlisted for guest spots and collaborations, including special spots with Pete
Special and Umphree McGee. Not able to be kept to just one instrument, Longbons also lends his talents on the keyboard for
part of LZ2's performance.
Rounding out the lineup is guitar prodigy and Chicago native Paul Kamp. Kamp has an extensive
resume of performing including the much acclaimed rock group Busker Soundcheck. Paul Kamp is a nationally recognized musician
who has received multiple accolades as one of the most accomplished guitarists of our age.
Zeppelin 2 will be bringing all of your greatest Zep hits back to the stage. They'll be playing a diverse mix of all of your
Zep favorites, from their long list of mega hits to their most esoteric B-sides. Don't miss Bruce Lamont nailing the refrains
of "Rock And Roll" or "No Quarter", or Ian Lee smashing the drum kit flat for "Dazed and Confused". Experience shivers down
your spine as Paul Kamp delivers a rendition of "Stairway to Heaven" so beautiful you'll think you're listening to Page himself.
Don't forget hits like "Kashmir", "The Song Remains the Same" and "Heartbreaker" that will round out one of the most nostalgic
nights you'll have in your life.
