Lee Burridge began his career in December of 1984 in his father's pub in the southwest of England. He never dreamed that he would make a career out of his unique talent. He began by playing weddings, birthday parties and other events. He spent his formative years playing to anyone who would listen, but soon he was discovered by a club owner from Hong Kong. In 1991, he left the UK for China and spent the first few months getting familiar with Hong Kong's underground dance music scene that was virtually non-existent. Burridge set out to change all of that. He turned small gatherings into huge dance parties with hundreds of people. Soon other DJs began playing there, and the dance music scene began to grow. He also ventured into Thailand where he helped launch the dance music associated with the full moon parties that happened every month. He doesn't take credit for starting these full moon parties, but he knows he helped to contribute to their growth. When he was satisfied with his work in Thailand, he returned to the UK to work on his music with Sasha and Craig Lee. Since then he has become a world-renowned DJ, topping the charts with several of his albums and tracks. Resident Advisory named him one of the Top 100 DJs in 2008, and he continues to create new ways of entertaining massive crowds with his immense talent for DJing.
