About Lee Greenwood
Country musician Lee Greenwood was first introduced to music when he
started singing in church. After honing his musical talents during his formative years, he decided to join a band. By 1969,
he had joined the Chester Smith Band, and he later worked with another country musician by the name of Del Reeves. Lee Greenwood
finally got his big break when he was discovered in 1979 by Larry McFaden, and he was later signed to the MCA label. His debut
album "Inside Out" was released in 1982, and it was eventually certified gold. The album's single "It Turns Me Inside Out"
broke into the top 20 of the country charts, and "Ring On Her Finger, Time on Her Hands" peaked at number 5 on the Billboard
Hot Country Singles. Following in the success of his debut album, Lee Greenwood followed up with "Somebody's Gonna Love You,"
which was also certified gold and peaked at number 3 on the US Top Country Albums chart. The album's single of the same name
