Lights has been attracting major critical attention for her refreshing and catchy indie dream pop tunes in recent years, and
she has secured a great deal of awards and honors for her unique sound and crisp lyrics. Valerie Anne Poxleitner, who has

she is bringing her songs to stages all over North America!
This fall, Lights is scheduled to perform at top tier venues
in cities lie Kitchener, Los Angeles, London, Portland, Boston, New York, Baltimore, Philadelphia, Detroit, Chicago, Denver,
San Francisco, Seattle, Vancouver, and more! With numerous awards to her name and several charting tunes, there's no doubt
that Lights is one of the hottest indie acts to come out of Canada in recent years, and you certainly don't want to miss out
on this chance to see her perform live! Take advantage of this opportunity to see Lights in concert and grab your tickets

Lights was born in Timmins, Ontario,
but spent most of her childhood moving all over the world due to her parents' jobs as missionaries. She has lived in Jamaica,
the Philippines, Ontario, and British Columbia. As soon as she turned 18, Valerie moved to Toronto and legally changed her
name to Lights, which she wanted to be her official stage name. However, by the time she was 18 she had already experienced
significant success in the music industry. When Lights was 15 years old, she was already a signed artist, and found her breakthrough
in the industry as a songwriter for Sony/ATV Music Publishing. She is one of the talented songwriters that wrote and composed
music for the Canadian series Instant Star.
By 2007, Lights had secured a manager and was well on her way to achieving
international stardom. She hit the touring road in 2008 after signing with Underground Operations, a Toronto-based record
label. Her very first single, "Drive My Soul" flew to number 18 on Canadian music charts, and her second single achieved even
more success – "February Air" was used in an Old Navy commercial, which helped ignite her fame even more. Ever since
then, Lights has been killing it on the touring road, selling out concerts wherever she goes. She has also started a nice
collection of awards and accolades, with an Indie Award and a Juno Award under her belt, amongst numerous nominations. As
one of the most acclaimed indie artists in the scene, Lights definitely knows how to crank out some unique and catchy tunes,
and now you can hear them performed live by the artist herself as she heads out on tour this fall!

even more successful, making it to number 47 on the US music charts. Some of Lights' most popular singles include "Drive My
Soul", "February Air", "Savior", "My Boots", "Toes", and "Cactus in the Valley".

Lights got her stage name from her last name "Poxleitner", but she had
to legally change her name because there was already a band called Lights, so the only way to officially keep her stage name
was to make it her legal name.
Once Lights steps out on stage, you will be blown away by
her phenomenal talent and distinctive sound. Her insanely catchy tunes will stay in your head for days to come, and you definitely
will have lasting memories of this unique indie concert. There's a reason why Lights has earned so many awards and honors
– she is one of the most talented artists in the indie music scene, and now you have the chance to see her perform live!
