Little Big Town was originally formed in Georgia as a trio, developing into a quartet in 1998. Though they were unique as a band, it worked against them at first. They worked hard in Nashville trying to earn some notice, but they were certainly outside the mold of most country-pop acts. They were finally picked up by a label in 2000, and released their first single, "Don't Waste My Time," in 2002.
