Littlejohn Coliseum History
Littlejohn Coliseum is a multipurpose facility located on the Clemson University campus
in Clemson, SC. Its main function is to serve as the home of the home of the Clemson Tigers basketball program. Littlejohn
Coliseum first opened in 1968, and is named for James Corcoran Littlejohn, an alumni and the school's first business manager.
Since it has served as the venue for home games of the Clemson Tigers, a Division I basketball program that has had some truly
memorable games in this building over the years.
College sports are an institution in American society and have been
a big part of the country's culture for a very long time. College basketball dates all the way back to late 1800s, and things
really took off for collegiate sports with the formation of the National Collegiate Athletic Association in 1910. The NCAA
gradually began to take over the governance of college sports and now essentially runs all collegiate athletics. Any Clemson
basketball game played at Littlejohn Coliseum is sanctioned by the NCAA. Fans of college athletics bring an intensity to the

back for more whenever one of their favorite artists comes to town. But it's the sporting events that take place at this venue
that draw the most people, as fans flock to the arena to see the Tigers take on some of the best teams in college hoops. When
you head to the arena for a big game of NCAA basketball, be ready to see some of the most gifted athletes in the world running
up and down the court in an athletic display that will leave your jaw on the floor. Seeing a game from the stands is an incredible
experience that will impress and inspire you at the same time.
There's nothing quite like being there in person for
a big college hoops contest, and you can be there cheering in the stands for the Tigers with the most dedicated Clemson basketball
fans. Every year college basketball receives an influx of talented freshman, and usually at least one or two of those players
takes the country by storm. This makes for some exciting teams that are better than expected. Of course, many fans are simply
waiting for the NCAA Tournament, also known as March Madness. The NCAA Tournament is quite possibly the most exciting sporting
event in the world, with more than 60 teams from all over the country vying for the National Championship. The Tigers have
been to the tourney many times and will surely be eyeing a return this season.

a city located in the state of South Carolina, and is the home of Clemson University. With a population of more than 13,000
people, Clemson is a large college town that receives a steady of influx of visitors attending events at the college. Littlejohn
Coliseum provides residents, student and visitors a place to see a variety of events live and in person, such as Clemson Tigers
basketball games and music concerts. Clemson also features a botanical garden, a plantation, a museum and a lake that attract
people on a regular basis. However, Clemson University remains the central attraction in the area, and for good reason.
