Looking for a classical concert? Opera? Play? Any time Austin’s residents are looking for a grand theater space, they can always count on seeing something great at the Michael and Susan Dell Hall at the Long Center. A state of the art facility, the Long Center opened this year in 2008 after a decade of planning and millions of dollars.
The Long Center’s history begins in 1998, when Austin’s voters decided to approve a renovation of Palmer Auditorium, a building that had been serving the community since 1959. At first, planners designed a four-venue project to take its place, costing $110 million. In time, a two theater facility—including the Michael and Susan Dell Hall and Debra and Kevin Rollins Studio Theatre—was approved for $77 million.
Concert halls don’t get any better than this! This amazing state-of-the-art facility can seat 2,400 people on three floors. Seating wraps around the walls, ensuring a good view from anywhere in the venue. Long Center Dell Hall tickets will guarantee an exciting evening out filled with culture and art. Make sure you get Long Center Dell Hall tickets while they last!
