Born in Reno, Nevada, Lorie Line started performing the piano early on, and by the time she graduated high school had won two national classical piano competitions. She studied at the University of Nevada and moved to Minneapolis in ’89. Performing at clubs and restaurants, she recorded her first album, Out of Line, that year.
