Los Angeles Angels Playoff tickets

Los Angeles Angels Playoffs

The Angels are known for having some of the biggest superstars in Major League Baseball, and that's not something that's likely to change anytime in the near future. Come out and see all of the towering homers, sensational defensive plays and nail-biting moments as the Angels look to pile up the wins and make another run at reaching the postseason. We know that it's tempting to just follow the action from home on that flatscreen you have in your living room, but there is still no comparison to being there in the stands when the game is on the line and the Angels are digging in – particularly when it's in the playoffs.

When the Angels are ready to hit the field for an exciting match-up against a top-tier team, the only place to be is the stands so you can actually feel the pulse of the crowd and the electricity emanating from the stands. Be there for all of the clutch hits, electrifying stolen bases and bench-gripping moments that you know you'll be talking about well after the final pitch. Thanks to another talented team, there is plenty of reason for optimism as the Angels hope to get back into the playoff hunt and deliver another memorable season of action.

The Experience

There's nothing like being in the stands when the game is on the line, so ditch the couch, brush off the potato chips and get ready to see a game you won't soon forget. Major League Baseball has plenty of great games on the schedule each and every season, from plenty of top-tier regular season battles to postseason clashes that you'll have to see first-hand to believe. But it all gets taken to a completely different level when it comes to seeing a playoff game, as this is a sport that really springs to life when it comes to the playoffs and the top teams in the league are battling it out on the diamond.

The Team

We all know about Pujols and Trout by now – they are two of the game's premier stars after all – but the Angels also have Jered Weaver and C.J. Wilson anchoring the pitching staff and plenty of surrounding talent eager to make a name for themselves. This is a team that has its fair share of firepower, and that's not likely to stop anytime in the near future as the Angels gear up for another run that fans hope will end in a swing at the World Series. If you've never headed out to see your favorite Major League Baseball team during the playoffs, you have no idea what you've been missing.

Los Angeles Angels Trivia

Did you know that Mickey Rivers holds the all-time record for stolen bases in a season for the Angels?

That's right, the Yankees weren't the only team who had a ballplayer named Mickey who could do some damage on the diamond, and Mickey Rivers tormented pitchers and catchers all season long in 1975 by swiping 75 bases. Even though there have been plenty of speedsters on the roster since, no one has been able to match Rivers when it comes to stealing bases at a prolific clip.

Los Angeles Angels History

MLB tickets to see the Los Angeles Angels in the playoffs were first sold in 1979, 18 years after they began playing ball. Successes in the postseason didn't reach the Angels until their historic 2002 World Series run, a series of games that fans are still talking about to this day. When this franchise began operation in 1961 the team was known as the Los Angeles Angels. Over the years, great players like Nolan Ryan, Rod Carew, Vladimir Guerrero, Rickey Henderson, Reggie Jackson and many more played for the Angels, and you never know when the next all-time great is going to burst onto the scene with a banner season that has everyone talking all over Los Angeles and Anaheim. Once you're there watching this team do their thing on the diamond, you'll be glad that you're not still sitting anywhere else.

The Fans

If the Angels get back to the postseason, Angel Stadium is sure to be absolutely packed to the brim with excited fans that pile into the stands by the tens of thousands to show their passion. There has never been a better time to ditch the remote and get out to the stands, where you'll feel the intensity in a way that you never can through your limited little high-def TV. Be there for all of the excitement moments as the playoffs roll around and the intensity gets taken up to the highest possible levels. But even though Angel Stadium is a great place to see a big ballgame, it's on the road that you'll also find excitable Angels fans who head out to be a part of the action, giving you reasons home and away to see the Angels whenever they're in the postseason.
