Los Angeles Angels Schedule

Los Angeles Angels Schedule - Angels Schedule

2014 Los Angeles Angels Schedule

You're in the right spot if you're expecting to see some unbelievable baseball, as the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim are back with a talented squad and aspirations of being big-time players in the A.L. West. Come out and see all of the skyscraping homers, the spectacular defensive plays and the bench-gripping moments that will have you recalling the big game a long time after the final pitch, as this is a game that gets taken to a completely different level when you get a chance to see the drama unfold before your very eyes. From home games against divisional powerhouses to road match-ups against interleague rivals they don't often get to play, the schedule is filled with possibilities this season for Angels' fans.

The Los Angeles Angels come alive during baseball season, and especially for home games at Angel Stadium, which has gotten the reputation as one of the best places in the country to see a baseball game. From the looks of their schedule this season, the Angels have some tough match-ups all year long against some of the top teams in the league, giving you plenty of reasons to get out and show your support. With an explosive roster that can do a little bit of everything, this is a team that you definitely don't want to miss out on this season.

The Experience

There's nothing like being in the stands when the game is on the line, so ditch the couch, brush off the potato chips and get ready to see a game you won't soon forget. Major League Baseball has plenty of great games on the schedule each and every season, from plenty of top-tier regular season battles to postseason clashes that you'll have to see first-hand to believe. These are some of the best athletes in the entire world, though that's something that you need to see for yourself to truly appreciate. Wherever the Angels hit the field, you can count on there being plenty of fanfare, which is why it's always a good idea to head out and see it for yourself as the Angels take aim at the top of the standings.

The Team

One look at the roster and you'll see what all the buzz is about, as you won't find a more exciting collection of stars anywhere. We all know about Pujols and Trout by now – they are two of the game's premier stars after all – but the Angels also have Jered Weaver and C.J. Wilson anchoring the pitching staff and plenty of surrounding talent eager to make a name for themselves. From spring training through the regular season, the Angels are sure to give you plenty to cheer about as they look to pile up the wins and make some major noise in the A.L. West in another year sure to be filled with rocking with moments you won't soon forget.

Los Angeles Angels Trivia

Did you know that Darin Erstad holds the franchise record for hits with a ridiculous 240?

Though getting to 200 hits is the type of thing that gives you a push towards Cooperstown, getting as many as 240 puts you in company with the greatest hitters of all-time. Erstad brought his game to the next level in 2000 for the Angels, belting 25 round-trippers, knocking in 100 runs and tallying a league-high 240 hits. He even tossed in 28 stolen bases, just for good measure.

Los Angeles Angels History

When this franchise began operation in 1961 the team was known as the Los Angeles Angels. Over the years, great players like Nolan Ryan, Rod Carew, Vladimir Guerrero, Rickey Henderson, Reggie Jackson and many more played for the Angels, and you never know when the next great player is going to burst onto the scene with a banner day that announces his super-stardom loud and clear. The Angels have also had plenty of winning seasons, most notably when they ran the table and won the World Series in 2002. After that they became the California Angels and then the Anaheim Angels, and then back to the Los Angeles Angels. These days, the current squad continues to bring home the tradition of winning, with a steady stream of superstars hitting the diamond on a regular basis as they look to continue to challenge in the ultra-competitive A.L. West.

The Fans

Come out for an unbelievable game filled to the brim with some of the best ballplayers in the world, as there is nothing close to seeing a slice of America's Pastime alongside thousands of your fellow baseball fans. With 162 different opportunities to experience Angels baseball in 2014, you have plenty of chances to see this team the way they were meant to be seen as they look to battle their way up the standings and provide another memorable season with nail-biting moments. We all know that Angel Stadium in Anaheim is the perfect spot to see a bit of top-tier baseball action, though you don't want to miss out on seeing the Angels on the road this season as they look to reach their potential and put together a memorable year of baseball.
