Los Angeles Angels Spring Training Tickets

Los Angeles Angels Spring Training tickets - Angles Spring Training Schedule

2015 Los Angeles Angels Spring Training Schedule

Fresh off of a very exciting 2014 campaign, the Los Angeles Angels are looking to keep up the momentum and take the next step forward with the franchise, which is something the fans are optimistic can happen thanks to the supreme level of talent that the Angels routinely put on the field. This is one of the most star-studded rosters in the league, which is why the Angels were able to run the table and take home the A.L. West title in 2014 in one of the best regular seasons in history. Though they would ultimately get knocked out of the playoffs by the smoking hot Kansas City Royals, the Angels know that anything can happen in an exciting new season.

And it all starts to build in spring training as the Angels head to Phoenix in order to get their spring training started on the right note. This is where the top players in the game come to hone their skills heading into the regular season, providing more than enough incentive to head down and watch this team from the get-go as they look to put on a show from the first pitch of spring training. Against all of the top teams in the Cactus League, the competition is much stronger than your average exhibition, and you can also count on plenty of Angels' fans making the trip down from the L.A./Anaheim area to watch the action at Tempe Diablo Stadium.

Of course, it definitely doesn't hurt that the Angels have one of the most dynamic stars in the game in Mike Trout, who finally broke through and was named the A.L. MVP (unanimously) at the conclusion of the 2014 season. After being the runner-up for the award the previous two seasons, Trout became one of the youngest players in the history of the game to become the MVP, but the beautiful part about this team is that he's just one major component of a very deep overall team. Put it all together and this is a team that comes with plenty of fanfare whenever they head down to Phoenix to gear up for another intense regular season.

Los Angeles Angels Team Info

Thanks to an explosive offense led by Mike Trout and Albert Pujols, and plenty of up-and-coming hurlers who know a thing or two about missing opposing bats, the Angels look like the team to beat in the A.L. West, though it's never easy as they go up against division rivals like the Mariners, Rangers, A's and Astros. This is a team that can do a little bit of everything, with plenty of ballplayers who can turn the direction of a big game in a real hurry as they look to once again be a big-time factor in the American League. But even though it's tempting to just catch the action from home, being there to watch the Angels first-hand – particularly when it's spring training – will give you a different level of experience for your favorite team. With a good spring training, the Angels know that the sky is the limit for 2015.

Spring Training the Experience

There's nothing like being in the stands when the game is on the line, so ditch the couch and get ready to see a game you won't soon forget. Major League Baseball has plenty of great games on the schedule each and every season, from plenty of top-tier regular season battles to postseason clashes that you'll have to see first-hand to believe. These are some of the best athletes in the entire world, though that's something that you need to see for yourself to truly appreciate. While the regular season and the playoffs are known for their intensity, spring training is the perfectly relaxed way to watch your favorite team and get ready for opening day, as this is one of the best ways to celebrate the national pastime. And when the action is heating up and two talented teams are going blow-for-blow down on the diamond, it won't be hard to swept up into the excitement of the moment.

Los Angeles Angels History

The Angels have had all kinds of great seasons over the years, solidifying themselves as staples of the sports scene in Anaheim, as well as the entire Los Angeles area. Rod Carew and Nolan Ryan are just two of the unbelievable players who have played some of their best baseball for this franchise, and you never know when the next all-time great is going to come out of nowhere. Other all-time greats include Vladimir Guerrero, Don Baylor, Tim Salmon and more, and you never know when the next all-time great is going to burst onto the scene and take his game to the next level. The Angels and their fans have also seen complete teams in addition to individual superstars, which is what fans were treated to when the Angels ran the table for the franchise's first World Series title in 2002. With another talented team that is eyeing another championship run, there has never been a better time to be an Angels fan.

Los Angeles Angels Trivia

Do you know which Angel was intentionally walked the most?

The answer is Vladimir Guerrero, who was given an intentional pass 112 different times while playing for the Angels, as he was generally considered one of the best all-around hitters in the game for most of his career.

Los Angeles Angels Fans

The Angels play their home games at Angel Stadium, which has a capacity of more than 40,000 screaming Angels' fans. Angel Stadium has been the perfect backdrop to some of the most memorable baseball games in recent years, and the Angels are a team with a very bright future ahead of them. But you also don't have to wait until the regular season, as the Angels also are known for putting on a show during spring training, where you'll get a great sneak preview of all the exciting things to come. Tempe Diablo Stadium is the perfect backdrop for the spring training matchups featuring the Angels, and you'll see that loud and clear when you're there to watch the Angels take to the field in front of a great crowd.
