2015 Los Angeles Angels Schedule

There's nothing quite like Major League Baseball, particularly when it's a team like the Los Angeles Angels taking to the field on a regular basis. Come out and see the Angels this season as they look to defend their divisional crown and get back into the mix for the postseason. The Angels have put together one of the best all-around rosters in baseball and the wins came early and often in 2014, setting the Angels up for some more big-time success in 2015 as they look to dominate their divisional foes. Once you're there in the middle of an epic game that has all of the makings of an instant classic, you'll definitely understand loud and clear what all of the excitement is about.

Angel fans are notoriously loyal and regularly show up to cheer on their favorite ball club, making each and every one of their home games something to behold. Angel Stadium in Anaheim has become known as one of the best places in Southern California for a big-time sporting event, though you're not going to figure that out sitting at home just wondering what the atmosphere of the big game is like. Home matchups tend to be all the rage around Anaheim when the Angels are setting up to take on a major opponent, as the passion and fanfare that will be emanating from the stands will completely speak for itself.

But even though the home games are great, seeing a road game can be just as exciting, as you'll end up getting a chance to watch your favorite team from a completely different level. Watching one of your favorite players silence the home crowd on the road is one of those experiences that every fan needs to experience sooner or later, and it won't take long to get completely sucked into the action as the Angels look to make it happen in 2015. Put it all together and it's sure to be another incredible season loaded with twists, turns and late-inning theatrics that will have fans talking all over town about the Halos.

Los Angeles Angels Team Info

The Los Angeles Angels play in the American League West division of Major League Baseball, a division that also features the Oakland Athletics, Texas Rangers, Seattle Mariners and Houston Astros. The Angels know they have the lineup to do some major damage in the American League this season, and are hoping that they've got enough pitching to hold opposing hitters at bay. Of course, it helps that they have Jered Weaver and Garrett Richards on the bump and guys like Mike Trout and Albert Pujols in the batter's box, giving them a chance to win every single time they take to the diamond. As the Angels look to get right back into the postseason picture in another intense season of baseball, there has never been a better time to come out and back the Angels.

The MLB Experience

Fans all over the country love to head to their local stadium to see their favorite team hit the field and take on some of the best teams Major League Baseball has to offer. Watching a game surrounded by fellow fans makes for a great experience, and fans of the Angels are about as passionate as it gets. Make sure to get out toe Angel Stadium this season and you can see these fans cheer the Halos on to victory, though road games also give you a chance to see the big game the way it was meant to be seen – in the stands with thousands of other baseball fans. With the game intensifying from one pitch to the next in the late-innings, you'll see for yourself why baseball remains one of the greatest spectator sports on the planet.

Los Angeles Angels History

The Los Angeles Angels were founded in 1961, though they were renamed the California Angels in 1965 before switching to the Anaheim Angels in 1997. In 2004, the team decided on a combination of two previous names and settled on the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. The team won their only World Series title in 2002, which was their only appearance to date on baseball's biggest stage. They've also had plenty of great players over the years, including Vladimir Guerrero, Nolan Ryan, Rod Carew, Garrett Anderson and plenty of others, making for a tradition of bringing some of the best ballplayers in the world to town. These days, the Angels have become known as the type of roster that is always loaded both with up-and-coming players and established superstars, making them a stalwart in the A.L. West in the process.

Los Angeles Angels Trivia

Do you know how many times Vladimir Guerrero knocked in at least 100 runs for this franchise?

The answer is five, including each of his first four seasons in Anaheim. Guerrero didn't waste any time at all establishing himself as a major star after coming over from the Montreal Expos, as he smacked 39 homers, drove in 126 runs and hit an unbelievable.337 in his first season in Anaheim, which was good enough to win the American League MVP. One of the other incredible things about Bad Vlad was that he rarely struck out for a power hitter, as he never struck out 100 times in a season throughout his career and never struck out more than 77 times in a season while playing for the Angels.

Los Angeles Angels Fans

Angel Stadium is sure to be absolutely bonkers throughout the year as Angels' fans look to cheer their team onto another divisional title. After a disappointing early exit to the postseason, the Angels will be looking to reassert themselves as the gold standard in arguably the toughest division in baseball, with both the Mariners and the Athletics looking to make their moves as well and the Astros and Rangers lurking with plenty of talent. But that only makes for exceptional matchups throughout the season, and you can bank on there being plenty of fanfare each and every time the Angels take to the field this season.
