Los Campesinos formed in 2006, and just months later were opening for another indie pop collective, Broken Social Scene, out on the road. Within a couple of years, Los Campesinos had released a few EPs and generated a lot of positive press. In 2008, they released their first LP, Hold on Now, Youngster... and followed that up later that year with another full-length album, We Are Beautiful, We Are Doomed.
