Fresh out of retirement and ready to rock, Lotion is anxious to get back on stage and show everyone what it really means
to be indie. They've been on hiatus for a while, but that doesn't mean these guys don't know how to put on a show. Grab your
friends and visit StubHub to get your hands on Lotion concert
tickets, a must-have for every music fan.
Formed in Manhattan in the early 1990s, Lotion was and remains a cult favorite for indie rock fans who yearn for the days
when alternative rock emerged from the shadows and stunned the masses. Singer Tony Zajkowski said Lotion
originally formed as an excuse to make band flyers, and theirs became somewhat legendary around the Lower East Side, cleverly
appropriating a flurry of brand logos as their own. It was this edgy, artistically-inspired music that garnered the band such
a devoted following, and now that they're back, their fan base will surely amass again.
Lotion has more claims to fame than just underground royalty status. They were one of the first bands to receive "Cute
Band Alert" status in "Sassy." Their debut album "Full Isaac" was named "Album of the Year" by the "Village Voice." And perhaps
most notably, the famously reclusive Thomas Pynchon penned the liner notes to their second album, "Nobody's Cool." These accolades
and accomplishments put Lotion in league with the best in 90s alternative rock, and their sound is as fresh today as it was
then.
It's rare to find musicians these days that do what they do just for the fun of it, and that's what Lotion is all about.
Their latest tour is an opportunity for them to share their new music and play their hits. All they want to do is put on a
great show, and these rockers know how to do that and do it right. Check out StubHub to see when Lotion is coming to play
near you, and get your Lotion rock tickets
