The country is known for cold winters and hockey, but Canada has also been the source of some pretty amazing music over
the years. Fans of the alternative rock genre likely know this to be especially true, thanks to the band Lowest of the Low.
Lowest Of The Low won fans over one at a time through a relentless string of tour
dates, and now they enjoy a loyal following.
Lowest Of The Low's history dates back to 1991 when they formed in Toronto. The music scene in the city during that time
provided the perfect backdrop for their alternative rock sound, but music execs weren't initially convinced. Undeterred, the
band began earning accolades without the backing of a major label, a move that gave them more creative freedom in the long
run.
Like many other rock bands before them, Lowest Of The Low didn't have the smoothest of roads to rock stardom. The band
members' relationships fractured by the middle of the 1990s, causing them to quit touring. Eventually, the band members patched
up their differences and hit the road together again for concert
dates, much to the delight of their large and adoring fan base.
