LSU Tigers Schedule in 2013-14
The LSU Tigers are on the prowl this season, seeking wins against some of the toughest
opponents that the Southeastern Conference and the NCAA ranks have the offer. The Tigers are a premier program that always
has a roster brimming with talent, and this season is no different. The Tigers are looking to take the SEC by storm this season,
and they could very well get that done by playing well at home in 2013-14. The SEC is one of the toughest conferences in college
basketball, boasting a handful of elite programs within its ranks. The Tigers know that they're going to have to stay focused
for the entire 2013-14 campaign to rise to the top of the conference standings, which is any team's ultimate goal for the
regular season. The Tigers are coming off a 2012-13 season in which they were only able to notch a.500 record in SEC play,
but the Tigers really showed their non-conference opponents who was boss, amassing a 19-12 overall record as a result of their
quality play against teams outside of the SEC. The Tigers will need to play better throughout the season if they're going
to rise in the ranks, though, and they know that. The team has some huge matchups this season at home, games that will go
a long way to sorting out who is the cream of the crop in the SEC this season. Fans always show up for the big games in force,
looking to cheer on their Tigers to victory.
LSU will face a tough test when they take to the court to face the TEXAS
A&M Aggies on February 26th. The Aggies are a formidable opponent that could give the Tigers some difficulties on the
hardwood, but LSU will certainly do everything possible to send the Aggies back to College Station with a loss. The Tigers
know that defense if often the key to winning the day, so the team will be looking to buckle down on the defensive end of
the court in an effort to smother the Aggies on offense.
The Tigers will close out the home section of their 2013-14
campaign when they host the Georgia Bulldogs to close out the season. The Bulldogs, like the Tigers, are better-known for
their football program, but their hoops team packs a serious punch as well. The Bulldogs have some premier athletes and the
Tigers are going to have buckle down defensively to make sure they can contain these explosive players throughout the entire
40 minutes of game time.
