Born in Klein, Texas, Lovett was raised on his family’s horse ranch. He studied journalism and German at Texas A&M University while performing at local folk festivals and clubs. He didn’t begin a true musical career until the early ‘80s, and with his talented voice and an MCA Record contract, his debut album reached the country Top 40. Though he later focused his sound toward more rock-pop, he continues to create an unforgettable sound that will make for a great concert.
