To get into Quicken Loans Arena for the Mid-American Conference Basketball Tournament, you're going to have to secure MAC Tournament tickets as soon as possible. Kent State, Northern Illinois and Ohio will all be vying for the all important guaranteed NCAA Tournament bid that is awarded to the winner of this conference tournament.
The Mid-American Conference was established in 1946, but NCAA basketball tickets to see their tournament championships game entered the sports tickets market in February of 1980. Kent State has been a conference power in the past seasons, winning the Tournament Championship game in '99, '01, '02, and '06.
The MAC Tournament should be exciting in the next couple of seasons, as many of the Conference schools appear to be in the running, and no team has dominated the 2000s. Kent State, Ohio, Western Michigan, Ball State, and Central Michigan have all won in this decade. The door is wide open for any team to take the Conference Championship, but the doors to the Quicken Loans Arena will soon be closing to fans who wait too long.
