Concert tickets will go quickly when Macklemore
is in town, so make sure to make your reservations today and secure seats for you and a couple of friends to see Macklemore
live onstage. Ben Haggarty is one of the more popular hip-hop artists on the scene and his fans know him as MackleMore. He's
been active on the scene since 2000 and has released several great singles over the years and is currently working on several
more! Don't worry about access, though, as StubHub has you covered for all of the biggest and most anticipated concert events,
including wherever Macklemore goes on tour.
Ben Haggerty grew up in Seattle, Washington, influenced by the hip-hop music of Digital Underground. He started penning
his own lyrics at 14, and at this age, his friends nicknamed him Mocklimore. In high school, he started to profoundly reflect
on how race affected where individuals were able to work and live. When he started to rap, he would take in the music of East
Coast underground hip-hop artists like Aceyalone, Living Legends, Wu-Tang Clan and Freestyle Fellowship. If you've never
actually heard Macklemore live and in person, there has never been a better time to change that.
In 2000, Macklemore recorded Open Your Eyes under the moniker of Professor Macklemore. He distributed the EP himself. Eventually,
he dropped "Professor" from his name and issued his first official full-length album, titled The Language of My World in 2005.
Four years later, he came out with The Unplanned Mixtape. And in 2010, he developed the VS. Redux EP. MackleMore drew on his
experience with substance abuse to generate the song, Otherside. Macklemore and longtime friend and collaborator Ryan Lewis
released The Heist in 2012, which includes previously released singles: Can't Hold Us, Wing$ My Oh My, and Make the Money.
Can't Hold Us was used in a UK and Ireland Miller beer advertisement in June 2012, adding to his brand recognition in Europe.
The Heist, climbed to No. 1 on U.S. iTunes albums charts within just hours of its release. It also earned a spot on the U.S.
Billboard 200 at No. 2 October 27, 2012, and sold over 78,000 copies!
MackleMore has performed at Seattle's Bumbershoot in 2008, 2009 and 2011. He also performed at the Sasquatch Music Festival
in the Washington gorge in 2011, and took the stage of the Outside Lands Music Festival in San Francisco in 2011. He is heading
out on tour again, and you will want to reserve spots at his next show before they all fill up. Get going today and get prepared
for an unforgettable live show that will leave you on the edge of your seat.
