The Mad Professor is better known to his friends and family as Neal Fraser, who grew up in Guyana with an intense interest in electronics. By the time he was a teenager, he was experimenting with reverb effects and music equipment—experiences that would develop into a love for reggae and dub. By the early ‘80s, he was making some of the most interesting music in dub.
Dub Me Crazy, which was released in multiple volumes, is the Professor’s best known work. One of his highest regarded albums is The African Connection: Dub Me Crazy Part 3.
