The Magnetic Hill Music Festival is an annual celebration that cannot be missed! Each year, the festival brings music
lovers from all over flooding into New Brunswick, where they can take in some of the hottest touring rock acts to be seen
anywhere. As one of the biggest concert sites in Canada, it attracts talent that's as massive as its crowds. Make sure you
get concert tickets early and get a good spot!
So how did Moncton's Magnetic Hill get its name? Quite simple, really. At the base of Lutes Mountain is a road. Though
it appears level, it's really not, and when cars stop accelerating on it, they start rolling backwards "down"
the hill. It became a tourist attraction as time went on, and eventually Moncton became a bit famous for it. But the concert
grounds there have made it even more famous.
The Magnetic Hill concert site was erected when Pope John Paul II came to visit the area in the '80s. Years later, it
was turned into a massive outdoor concert venue. Major rock acts, including The Rolling Stones, The Eagles and AC/DC have
played there. If you're looking to rock out and enjoy some great music, then get yourself some Magnetic
Hill Music Festival tickets today!
