Chris Tsakalakis, President of StubHub and General Manager of eBay Tickets

Chris Tsakalakis led eBay's acquisition of StubHub in 2007 and is General Manager of the combined eBay Tickets / StubHub business, responsible for full P&L and post-merger integration. Chris has been an eBay Marketplaces executive since 2003. Prior to joining eBay Tickets, Chris managed the Advanced Solutions Group which provides solutions for advanced buyers and sellers and includes eBay Stores, ProStores, Trading Platforms, Seller Marketing and Tools, the eBay Developers program and Shipping. Over a 3-and-a-half-year period, he managed the development and growth of the eBay Stores subscriber base from 50,000 to more than 260,000. Additionally, Chris oversaw the launch of ProStores, an eBay company offering complete Web storefront solutions independent of eBay.com. Prior to joining eBay, Chris was a managing partner at Trefo, a consulting firm focused on high-technology startup companies. Prior to Trefo, he held management positions at two ecommerce startups and was also a consultant with Bain & Company for 6 years. He started his career in ecommerce in 1996. Chris received a Bachelors of Science in Economics degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. |
Srini Venkatesan, Chief Technology Officer and VP of Engineering

Srini has over 14 years of Software Engineering experince in leadership, management, architecture, design, and implementation of complex, scalable and flexible systems. The focus of his work has been on the web and FPGA design, development and programming. Before coming to StubHub, he held various management positions in the trading platform at eBay Marketplaces. Over a four year period, he managed the redesign of the view item, next generation Selling platform on the web and the redesign of the Client tools notably TurboLister, Desktop selling tool and eBay Toolbar. Additionaly, Srini also managed the Blackthorne team and oversaw the launch of the Blackthorne PRO product, which is a complete listing, tracking and inventory management Tool. Prior to joining eBay, Srini managed the programming platform at Actel, an FPGA company. He was instrumental in the design and development of the programming software for their next generation products and also was a primary architect in the Silicon Explorer, a real time debugging tool which was the first in this space. Srini received a Bachelor in Electrical Engineering in India. |
Carolyn Arend, Senior Director and Chief Financial Officer

As Chief Financial Officer, Carolyn is responsible for guiding StubHub's accounting, financial planning and analysis. She has over fifteen years of finance and accounting experience, focusing on internal and external financial reporting, financial due diligence and acquisition integration, financial analysis, accounting operations, ERP systems implementation and controls and compliance. Prior to joining StubHub, Carolyn was a member of eBay's Finance and Accounting team since 2001. During that time, Carolyn had several Corporate and Business Unit Roles including Assistant Corporation Controller, PayPal Accounting Operations Director, Financial Process & Integrations Director (including SOX 404 responsibility) and Accounting Policy. Prior to joining eBay, Carolyn spent 10 years with PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in both the M&A and Audit practices in the US and Europe. Carolyn received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Wisconsin and is a CPA. |
Ray Elias, Director of Marketing

Ray joined StubHub in 2004 and is responsible for all of StubHub's marketing strategy and execution. Previously, Ray developed and managed search marketing at Esurance, and has worked for several internet start-ups within a variety of verticals, including: financial services, action sports and health and fitness. Ray received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin. |
Noah Goldberg, Senior Director of Business Operations

As the Senior Director of Business Operations, Noah Goldberg works to continuously expand and improve StubHub's offerings by leading Business Process Management and change management. Prior to joining StubHub, Noah spent several years managing product development and then partnerships at TradeOut, an online business to business marketplace for surplus goods and off-lease assets. He also worked for MCA, a management consulting firm in Westport, CT where he worked with a number of consumer goods and technology clients, focusing on marketing strategies and demand growth.

Leigh Goldstein, Director of Product

Leigh is responsible for developing product strategies with the other business units and working with the Technology team to create site functionality and features that help StubHub be the leading ticket marketplace for sports, music, and theatre fans. From 2002 through 2006, Leigh was eBay's Director of Global Shipping, responsible for working with the US Postal Service, UPS, Pitney Bowes and several foreign Postal Services to integrate their shipping services into the eBay and PayPal platforms, enabling a more efficient eBay marketplace. Before eBay, Leigh held a variety of business development roles at Network Appliance and Alta Vista in Silicon Valley, Nissho Iwai in New York City and VATICO Consulting in Vietnam. Leigh received a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the University of Michigan. |
Julian Green, Director of Strategy

Julian Green is the Director of Strategy, and General Manager of Last Minute Services Inc. Previously with eBay, he was General Manager of ProStores. He directed the team that rebranded Kurant's StoreSense product and launched ProStores as an eBay company. Prior to joining eBay Julian served as VP of business development and sales for IronPlanet.com, a used construction equipment web site. He helped raise more than $40 million in corporate working capital and generate over $200 million in online sales. Julian was also a Consultant at Bain & Company, and has more than 15 years experience in ecommerce management and working with technology, consumer companies and small businesses on strategy, sales and marketing, and integrated channel solutions. Julian received a MBA from the INSEAD School of Business as well as MBA degrees in Engineering and Economics from Oxford University. |
Lance Lanciault, Director of Legal Affairs

As Director of Legal Affairs, Lance is responsible for overseeing all aspects of StubHub's legal affairs. Prior to joining the company, he was Associate General Counsel for GE Healthcare's Information Technology business, where he managed an eight-person team that handled all commercial and licensing matters around the world. Previously, Lance was Senior Counsel with eBay, where he was a strategic liaison to the corporate strategy and development teams. He joined eBay from the Washington, D.C. law firm of Arnold & Porter, where he specialized in antitrust and litigation. Lance received a Bachelor of Philosophy from Bates College and his J.D. from George Washington University Law School, where he was editor-in-chief of the law review. |
John Whelan, Director of Customer Service

At StubHub, John developed and continues to lead the company's customer care department. John's team answers consumer questions, guides customers through the buying and selling processes and provides post-purchase updates and assistance. Prior to StubHub, John worked as the National Manager for Versity.com overseeing all marketing and operations on 80 college campuses across the country. He managed a team of 8 regional managers and 80 district managers. Before that he worked at US West (now Qwest) as a Field Supervisor and Project Manager. He served in the Management Development Program that accelerated promotion of well-qualified managers. John received a Bachelor in Arts in Political Science, English and History from the University of Michgan. |
Scott Day, Director of Human Resources

As Director of Human Resources, Scott partners with StubHub s leadership team to improve organizational effectiveness and to attract, retain, and develop top talent. He also provides coaching to strengthen leadership capability, and collaborates with eBay human resources leaders to ensure alignment of objectives and communications across the organization. Scott began his career in the Marine Corps, leaving as a Captain. He worked in operations and customer service at Capital One Financial Corporation before moving into a succession of progressive human resources roles, including leading large training organizations, coaching for leadership and executive development, consulting on cultural integration of recently acquired companies, and working as a retained executive search consultant. Scott received a Bachelor of Arts from Virginia Military Institute and an MBA from Pepperdine University, and is a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC). |
