Marcia Ball has performed throughout the United States and has several albums and songs under her belt. She included elements of zydeco, swamp blues, Louisiana and boogie woogie in her music, and has earned many awards and accolades for her work. She was nominated for her first Grammy Award with the release of her album Sing It!, which featured a duet with Irma Thomas.
