The talented musician immigrated to the United States from Ireland when he was just 19-years-old. Geary released a second album after his debut effort, 33 1/3 Grand Street, which was named Album of the Year by Irish Voice. After his second album was released, Geary worked on several film scores, including 2005's Loggerheads, 2006's Steel City, and 2010's Sons of Perdition. His songs were also featured on the small screen when they were used for episodes of One Tree Hill and Bones. His third studio album, which compiled sounds from his New York roots, was also well received, and featured songs from his other albums. His fourth album, songs about love, songs about leaving, was released in 2012, and has brought him an even wider fan base.
