The Herd managed a 16-14 record last season and went 8-8 in conference play.
NCAA basketball tickets to see the Thundering Herd hit the hardwood seem to get increasingly popular every season. The team plays their home games at Cam Henderson Center in Huntington, WV, a venue that can get pretty crazy during a heated rivalry game. But on the road, the Herd won’t have the benefit of the home crowd and will need all the fans they can get.
Marshall plays in the competitive Conference USA, which provides tough opponents like the Memphis Tigers, Houston Cougars and UAB Blazers, among others. The Herd broke even in conference play last season but the team looking to get a few more wins away from home in the pursuit of a winning conference record.
