Marshall Thundering Herd Football Conference

The Thundering Herd have been members of Conference USA since 2005 and have since been developing rivalries within the conference. There are thirteen universities in Conference USA for football which are divided into two divisions. The West Division contains Louisiana Tech, Rice, UTEP, North Texas, Southern Miss, and UTSA, while the East division is made up of Middle Tennessee, Florida Atlantic, Florida International, Old Dominion, Marshall, UAB, and Western Kentucky. The 2014 season is the first in which the conference has been split up into two different divisions and it should be exciting to see how the conference plays out this year. There have been several changes within the conference in recent years with the addition of new teams and the implementation of the division system but these changes have only proven to make Conference USA more exciting and competitive.
