MetraPark Rimrock Auto Arena History
MetraPark Rimrock Auto Arena was first opened back in 1975 as the Montana
Entertainment Trade and Recreation Arena. That name stood until 1998 when the venue was renamed MetraPark Arena. The current
moniker was settled on in 2007 when the Rimrock Auto Group purchased the naming rights for a decade. Yellowstone County is
the owner of this venue, one that has seen some incredible sporting events and music concerts over the years. Past performers
include The Beach Boys, The Eagles, Christina Aguilera, Garth Brooks and the Smashing Pumpkins, among others. Sporting events
held in this venue include hockey and basketball, though the venue does not have an athletic tenants at this time. A $27 million
renovation was done in 2010 and 2011 that significantly upgraded the facility.

talent that hits the stage there. July will see country star Tim McGraw take center stage and entertain the audience with
