The Team

Trivia

Do you know that Dan Marino was the first quarterback to throw for 5,000 yards and also 40 touchdowns in a season?

Even though it wasn't a passing league when Marino came into the league in 1983, well, that wasn't to last, as Marino started to transform the league with his unbelievable ability to throw the ball down the field. Marino threw for 5,000 yards in his second season, back when nobody even really came close, and he ended up winning the MVP as well that year.

History

When the Don Shula and Dan Marino were working together, NFL tickets to see the Dolphins were at their height of popularity, though seeing the Dolphins remains one of the best things to do in South Florida. Shula led the 1972 Dolphins to the only perfect NFL season in history and while Marino never won a Super Bowl, he did break many passing records while playing for the Dolphins. Thanks to a rich history and a steady stream of talent, the Dolphins remain one of the most popular teams in the league for a reason, making it always a good time to get out and see the big game the way it was meant to be seen.
