Miami Marlins Spring Training tickets - Marlins Spring Training Schedule

Miami Marlins Spring Training Schedule

The Miami Marlins are ready to hit the field this spring training season and take on all the best spring squads that the Grapefruit League has to offer. The Grapefruit League is filled with some of the best teams in Major League Baseball, and they all compete at venues in Florida. The Marlins play their home spring training games at Roger Dean Stadium, but they'll also be taking to the road to play in other venues around the state. The Marlins will be looking to top some of the best teams in baseball this spring, and a great crowd can always do wonders for this squad.

The Marlins have some of the best young talent in the National League, and they're going to be working all spring to get ready for the regular season. Miami has one of the best young players in the game in Giancarlo Stanton, a true power hitter that puts the ball into the seats with regularity. Stanton is one of the rising stars of the game, and he's sure to hit some towering home runs this spring. Seeing a home run is one of the most exciting experiences a fan can be a part of at a Major League game, so make sure you get out to Roger Dean Stadium this season to witness all of the moonshots that Stanton and the rest of the Marlins lineup are sure to supply. Be there this spring to see how the Marlins are shaping up.

Miami Marlins History

The Miami Marlins first became a part of Major League Baseball in 1993 when they joined the National League as the Florida Marlins. The Marlins rose to quick success after their entrance into the N.L. East in 1993, winning World Series titles in 1997 and 2003. Great players like Miguel Cabrera, Josh Beckett and Edgar Renteria are just a few of the great players who have made big-time impacts on the Marlins' history, and you never know who is going to burst onto the scene next and help lead the Marlins back to the Fall Classic. The Marlins have never won a division title, which comes as a surprise to many, and they're looking to change that this season. With a franchise that hasn't taken long to become a staple of Miami and some explosive ballplayers on the rise, the Marlins have a team you definitely don't want to miss out on.

Fan Experience

There may be plenty of ways to experience baseball these days, there is still no comparing it with the live experience, though that's not something you're going to figure out sitting at home watching on that disappointing little flatscreen. Spring training brings a whole different vibe, and it will have you headed right back for some more Grapefruit League fun much sooner than later. Sure, you could just read your favorite blog to find out about how the team is progressing in the spring, but it's a completely different thing to actually be there when the game is on the line and the best Marlins are looking to make a name for themselves on the diamond. When the Marlins take to the field this year, you'll get a glimpse of how this team is looking first-hand, and it should give you a leg up on other fans in predicting how the regular season will play out for this organization. Get out to the stands this year to catch all the action for yourself.

Miami Marlins Trivia

Did you know that the recently retired manager Jim Leyland won his first and only championship with the Marlins back in 1997?

Though Leyland recently has become known for being the skipper for the Tigers as they made their runs at a title, Leyland got all the way to the top of the league back in 1997, when Josh Beckett, Miguel Cabrera and company rolled through the National League and then took the Yankees down in six in the Fall Classic.

Miami Marlins Fans

The Marlins play their home games at Marlins Park has been the perfect backdrop to some of the most memorable baseball games in recent years for the Marlins, and the Marlins are a team with a very bright future ahead of them. Get out and see a game loaded with stars that know a thing or two about putting on a show in a city that is renowned for having great baseball fans. But even though home games at Marlins Park are obviously a must for Marlins fans, don't make the mistake of thinking that you have to wait until the regular season. In spring training, the Marlins get together and look to light up the other Grapefruit League teams on their way to getting ready for opening day. When the game is on the line and the spring sunshine is pouring down, you'll be glad that you're not siting anywhere else.
