The Quicken Loans 400 has a long and storied history dating back to 1969 and now stands as one of the most popular and historic races in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. The likes of Cale Yarborough, Dale Earnhardt, Tony Stewart, Jeff Gordon, Kurt Busch, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jimmie Johnson, and more have all won the Quicken Loans 400 over the years and every year the best drivers in NASCAR take part in the race. In 1969 the event was known as the Motor State 500, and has alternately been known as the Cam 2 Motor Oil 400, the Gabriel 400, the Miller High Life 400, the Kmart 400, he Sirius Satellite Radio 400, the DHL 400, the Batman Begins 400, the Citizens Bank 400, the LifeLock 400, and the Helluva Good! Sour Cream Dips 400, before changing its name to the Quicken Loans 400 in 2012.
