Magic Johnson led the Spartans against the undefeated Indiana State Sycamores, in one of the best Larry Bird-Magic Johnson match ups of all time. The Michigan State Spartans also won the 2000 national championship, led on the court by the so-called "Flinstones," Mateen Cleaves, Morris Peterson and Charlie Bell.
