Indie rock artists hailing from Denton, Texas, Midlife consist of North Texas School of Music alum Paul Alexander, Eric Nichelson, Eric Pulido, Tim Smith and Mckenzie Smith. Their first EP, Milkmaid Grand Army, appeared in 2001 and sold relatively well considering they released it themselves. They signed to UK's Bella Union following Milkmaid and have continued to perform since.
A live act with lots of spirit and deep roots in the South, Midlake is about hanging out and having a good time. Moving toward '70s influenced rock with their sophomore set The Trials of Van Occupanther, the group has continued to tour international circuits with great success - making Midlake tickets a true necessity this season when they come into your town!
