Kansas City's Midland by AMC has the grace and swank of a historic building, but it's events calendar is as modern as could be. In the past, major artists have entertained audiences here. Located in downtown Kansas City, the Midland is a venue that tries to offer a little bit of everything to everyone. The original theater was an entertainment hub in the Power and Light District when it opened in 1927, and has been renovated to host anywhere from 1,300 to 3,000 guests at one time. The banquet room, Windows on Main, gives visitors a gorgeous view of the city, and the Chandelier Bar has drawn tourists to enjoy a drink and muse over the lovely inverted chandelier at the room's center.
