The Milwaukee Bucks - Schedule in 2013-14

The Milwaukee Bucks are on the hunt for wins this season, and they'll have their work cut out for themselves when they take the court at the Bradley Center to face some of the toughest teams that the Eastern Conference has to offer in 2013-14. The Bucks have a lot of young talent on their roster and are looking to build something special in Milwaukee. The team calls the Central Division of the Eastern Conference home, a division that features some tough teams that the Bucks will see hit the court at the Bradley Center with regularity this season. The Bucks finished just a few games under the.500 mark in 2012-13, good enough for third place in the division, but were unable to make it to the postseason. The team is in a bit of a rebuilding mode right now, so fans may have to be patient with this group of young players, but there are some truly exciting athletes to see on this roster this season. This should be an interesting season in Milwaukee, and the Bucks will surely be fighting hard every time an opponent hits the court at the Bradley Center this season.

The Bucks will have their work cut out for themselves when they host the Indiana Pacers this season. The Pacers won the Central Division title last season and were able to take the eventual NBA Champion Miami Heat to six games in the Eastern Conference Finals before seeing their season come to a close. Indiana has a budding superstar player in Paul George, a versatile forward that is a matchup nightmare for just about any team on both ends of the floor. The Bucks will have to try to slow down George on offense, but the Pacers have plenty of good players that can hurt an opponent. The Pacers are seeing a breakout season from guard Lance Stephenson, whose versatility gives the Pacers an extra ball-handler and facilitator of the offense. With George Hill, Roy Hibbert and David West rounding out the starting lineup, one can see how difficult it is to shut down this Indiana team when they have so many reliable weapons. The Bucks will need to focus on George first, but play disciplined defense and hope that the good interior Milwaukee defenders can do enough to keep the game close. It won't be an easy task, but if the Bucks can earn a victory or two against the Pacers this season it would give this young group of players the kind of confidence that can go a long way.

Another tough team the Bucks will have to deal with this season is the Chicago Bulls. The Bulls finished second in the divisional race last season, and though they've lost two of their best players to injury and trade this season they remain one of the tougher groups in the East. Center Joakim Noah is one of the best defenders in the league, and his role on offense is a unique one that could be categorized as a point-center. Noah's fiery attitude reflects this team's dedication to playing tough defense and refusing to be pushed around, no matter the opponent. A veteran team that plays good defense is often a recipe for a loss when it comes to a young team, but the Bucks won't go down easily. This should be a Milwaukee Bucks season filled with close games and exciting finishes, and you can be there to see it all unfold.
