Milwaukee Bucks Latest News

Rookie sensation Jabari Parker is out for the season after tearing his ACL at Phoenix last week. Since the middle of the month, the Bucks have bounced back and forth between wins and losses (2-2 over their last four games). All those games were part of their just completed western road trip. Milwaukee is home Tuesday hosting Charlotte but then right back on the road to Atlanta the day after Christmas. The Bucks have just five December homes games and 10 on the road. No one on the team has had 10 assists in a game since opening night, when Brandon Knight had 13 in an overtime loss at Charlotte. -- Randy Renner

Milwaukee Bucks Schedule in 2014-15

The Milwaukee Bucks are ready to storm this court this season and take down as many victories as possible against some of the better teams in the National Basketball Association. The Bucks have a young roster that is stocked with young talent, and the fans of Milwaukee hoops should see some exciting play on the court in 2014-15. The Bucks made a big splash in the offseason when they landed forward Jabari Parker with the second pick in the NBA Draft, and many people think he's a good bet for Rookie of the Year. Jabari joins a roster that features the high-upside Giannis Antetokounmpo, a player that many see as a future star in this league. With a multitude of other intriguing pieces, this Bucks team looks to be on the rise in the Eastern Conference. They may not start racking up the wins right away, but they appear to be on the right track. Last season the Bucks struggled, and they may have some tough stretches again this time around, but fans need to be patient with these youngsters. There are some great games at the Bradley Center this season for fans to enjoy.

The Bucks will face some tough divisional games this season, and perhaps few tougher than when the Cleveland Cavaliers come to town. The Cavs got LeBron James back in the offseason, and they also landed Kevin Love, so suddenly Cleveland looks like one of the favorites for the Eastern Conference crown. The Bucks know that it's going to be difficult to take down a club that sports James, Love and Kyrie Irving, but that won't stop them from laying it all out on the court each time the Cavs visit this season. Be there in the stands to see the Bucks take on this juggernaut, and if you cheer loudly the Bucks just may prevail.

Milwaukee will face another tough team multiple times at home this season in the Chicago Bulls. The Bulls could be the Cavaliers' biggest competition this season, not only in the Central Division but in the conference standings. The Bucks will look to slow down Derrick Rose, who is back and healthy for Chicago. This Chicago roster is deep, though, so focusing on one player only won't get the job done for Milwaukee. These will be tough games, but it will give the Bucks a chance to face some of the best competition in the entire league.

Milwaukee Bucks Team Info

The Milwaukee Bucks are looking to rise in the ranks of the Eastern Conference this season after finishing with the worst record in the National Basketball Association in 2013-14. The Bucks won the second pick in the 2014 NBA Draft in the NBA Draft Lottery and used that selection to add forward Jabari Parker to the roster. Parker posted one fantastic collegiate season before entering the pros, and is seen by many as the most NBA-ready prospect in the draft class. Parker has an offensive game of a much older player and reminds a lot of scouts of a young Carmelo Anthony. Fans are expecting to see Parker score in bunches from day one, and he could very well make that happen. However, Parker is not a finished product, as he needs to work on his defense and sharing the ball on offense. The Bucks definitely got a promising player in Parker, though, as the organization rebuilds the roster. Milwaukee is hoping for a bounce-back season from center Larry Sanders, who struggled with injuries and inconsistent play in 2013-14. Sanders was a force defensively for the Bucks two years ago, and a return to form could great help the team's prospects this season. The most exciting player on the roster, though, could very well be Giannis Antetokounmpo, also known as the Greek Freak thanks to his incredible length and athleticism. Giannis has one of the highest ceilings of a any player in the league, but he's only scratching the surface of this potential right now. If he can make some big strides this season, the Bucks could find themselves in a great position sooner that many would think. This should be a very interesting season in Milwaukee.

Fan Experience

It doesn't get much better than watching an NBA game live and in person, and that's something you can see for yourself every time you head out to the arena to see the Milwaukee Bucks take the floor this season. Being there in the stands gives you a much better appreciation for the game and what these amazing athletes are truly capable of. There's a reason that so many people pack into the Bradley Center each season.

Milwaukee Bucks Trivia

Where did Milwaukee Bucks big man John Henson attend college?

The answer is North Carolina, where he was a defensive force for the Tar Heels. While he still needs to add some weight to his frame, Henson has come a long way in that department since he showed up to Chapel Hill years ago as a regular beanpole. Henson has showed some great signs over the last two seasons, and he is primed to take on a larger role in Milwaukee this season. Bucks fans know that he's already a force defensively, but his offensive game looks ready to bust loose.

Milwaukee Bucks History

The Milwaukee Bucks are a franchise that is a member of the National Basketball Association, the top basketball league known to man. The Bucks were founded in 1968 and have been competing at a high level ever since. The team quickly found success thanks to the presence of center Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, formerly Lew Alcindor, who paired with fellow legend Oscar Robertson in 1971 to give the Bucks their lone NBA Championship. The Bucks have won their division on 13 occasions throughout the teams' history, and retired the numbers of seven different players. The Bucks would love to add another NBA Championship, and are working toward that goal each and every day.
