The newly released collection, Absolutely Cuckoo: Minnesota Covers the 69 Love Songs, was inspired by the 1999 popular cult triple album by East Coast natives fuzz-pop band the Magnetic Fields, which includes whimsical and silly songs sweetened with odes to romance. Maybe it's the Minnesota winters that got to them, but regardless 69 Minnesota local artists decided to recreate the album in its entirety. The ambitious project has culminated into a unique concert event that you don't want to miss! Led by Matt Latterell, a Twin Cities songwriter, the tribute concert/fundraiser includes Maggie Morrison, Bethany Larson, Lucy Michelle, Actual Wolf, Al Church & State, the Roe Family Singers, Me & My Arrow, Como Avenue Jug Band, the Chalice, Dan Israel, Mayda, Jennifer Markey and so many more!
