Red Army in the semifinals of the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid, New York. While the Soviet team consisted of professional
skaters, the US Men's team was made up of college hockey players, who were anything but star struck that fateful day at the
Olympic Center. Two of the team's players, John "Bah" Harrington and Mark Pavelich, were players for the University of Minnesota-Duluth.
Pavelich was credited with the assist on the game winning goal by Boston University legend and American hero, Mike Eruzione.
