Minnesota Twins Road Games

Minnesota Twins Road Games tickets

2014 Minnesota Twins Road Schedule

You're in the right spot if you're looking for a slice of America's Pastime, as the Twins are back for another season sure to be absolutely packed with nail-biting moments as they take on some of the top teams in the league. Though home games are great, road games can be just as exciting, though you're not going to figure that out sitting from your couch wondering what the atmosphere of the big game is like when your favorite player quiets the crowd with majestic blast to the upper deck. Being there is a completely different level of experience, and as soon as you're there, you'll be kicking yourself for not heading out to a road game a whole lot sooner.

The Twins will play a lot of road games against their American League Central rivals in particularly, such as the Chicago White Sox, Cleveland Indians, Detroit Tigers and Kansas City Royals. No matter who they play, though, it's great to watch the Twins in action in hostile territory, as you'll have an unbelievable experience that you can't get by watching on that flatscreen and pretending to get the vibes of the crowd. Once you're there watching the big game the way it was meant to be seen, you'll understand loud and clear what the difference is, and you'll never look at the highly anticipated road game the same way.

The Experience

Baseball has been around for well over a century, giving it enough time to gain the reputation as one of the most popular sports in the entire world. But even though baseball is now played at a high level all over the world, Major League Baseball is still the premier league for a reason, and it isn't because there is a lack of talent on the diamond. Get out and see a great game loaded with memorable moments that you have to see first-hand to truly appreciate. This is one of those sports that gets taken to a completely different level when you see your favorite team and players hit the diamond, and the electricity of the stands is sure to be something to behold.

The Team

Since 1961, MLB tickets to see the Minnesota Twins have been a hot item in Minneapolis, and you'll understand why if you get out to the stands for a big game. The Twins have gone through many periods of success over the years, but found some of their best years were in the late '80s and early '90s, with Kirby Puckett leading the way. These days, it's never easy in the A.L. Central with teams like the Tigers, White Sox, Indians and Royals all vying for the divisional title, but the Twins have the talent to give any team in the league a run for the money this season

Minnesota Twins Trivia

Did you know that Kirby Puckett made it to 10 consecutive All-Star Games?

Starting back in the mid-1980s and going all the way to 1995, nobody roamed centerfield better than Twins legend Kirby Puckett. Puckett would go on to win six gold gloves and lead the team to two World Series titles, finishing his career with a batting average well over.300 and cementing himself as one of the greatest players in franchise history.

Minnesota Twins History

Fans have been heading out to see this team since the franchise first came into existence in 1901. Back in those days they were known as the Washington Senators. The Twins went on to win World Series trophies in 1924 (as the Senators), 1987 and 1991, giving them a rich history of success. Including players like Kent Hrbek, Frank Viola, Kirby Puckett and many more, this is a team that never seems to be lacking in the superstar department, and you never know who is going to take the next step to becoming a Twin Cities legend.

The Fans

Target Field is a great place to see the Twins in action, but you can't be wrong with hitting the road so you can see the Twins take on a prominent team away from home. There has never been a better time to get together with a couple friends so you can join in the heart-pounding excitement of another top-tier season absolutely loaded with great match-ups that you know you'll want to be a part of. Don't miss your chance to see a game that you could be talking about well after the final pitch. But even though home games are obviously great, there is nothing quite like being there in the stands to see the big game from a whole new perspective on the road. When the Twins are in the middle of a great battle that has all the makings of a classic, the buzz of the crowd is sure to be unbelievable – and you'll be right in the middle of it.
