Miss America Competition Tickets - Important Info

The Miss America pageant, originated in 1921 as a beauty contest, is a long-standing competition that awards scholarships and prizes to young women that live in the United States. In 1989, a community service platform was made a requirement for all contestants, emphasizing the importance of being role models. The chosen Miss America recieves the crown and title for one year along with scholarships for use in higher education and other prizes often donated by sponsors.
